POLICE are urging the public to turn in nuisance bikers around Darlington.
A recent increase in problems caused by bikers on motorcycles and off-road bikes prompted Darlington Police to appeal for help on Tuesday.
A spokesman said: “We have seen an increase in motorcycle and off-road bike nuisance in the last few weeks, particularly in and around Firthmoor and Redhall.
“Not only is this behaviour disrupting the quality of life for local residents, it is also putting the safety of the general public and that of the riders in jeopardy, not to mention the offences that are being committed.
“In order to combat such nuisance we require the public’s help to provide us with information regarding who is riding these bikes and which addresses they are coming from.”
- Anyone with images of offenders or information relating to them are asked to email asbbikes@durham.pnn.police.uk.
