POLICE want to trace these men following a burglary at a Co-op in Gateshead.
"At around 5.40am on the morning of Wednesday, February 22, we received a report that the Co-operative Food store on Durham Road in Birtley had been burgled," said a spokeswoman for Northumbria Police.
"Unknown individuals had forced entry to the store at some point after 11.15pm the previous evening and caused a significant amount of damage to the premises.
"They have then stolen a quantity of cash and fled the store."
Police enquiries are on-going but they have now released images of two men they want to speak to about the incident.
"They were in the area of the store around the time of the burglary and could help officers with the investigation," said the spokeswoman.
- The man, or anyone who recognises them, should contact us on 101 quoting log 130 22/02/17 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
