A MAN pointed an air rifle from a window following an argument with another individual, a court heard.
Jamie Hart intended to frighten his target, another man, although the weapon was not loaded.
Teesside Crown Court was told that 26-year-old Hart had mental health issues and was on medication.
He admitted possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence on July 22 last year.
The hearing was adjourned so a pre-sentence report on Hart could be prepared.
Judge Peter Armstrong warned Hart, of William Street, Skelton, east Cleveland, that all sentencing options, including jail, would be available to the sentencing judge.
The defendant will return to court on April 25.
