MODEL railway enthusiasts have helped raise £2,500 for charity.
The eighth annual Model Railway Exhibition was held at Newton Aycliffe Youth and Community Centre, County Durham.
Attended by 500 visitors and staged by Newton Aycliffe Rotary Club, the event raised cash for Heel and Toe, a local charity which supports children with cerebral palsy and physical difficulties, and The Brain Tumour Research Campaign.
Rotarian John Burrows, who headed the organising team, said: “We were delighted with the support we received once again this year.”
Among the attractions were 19 working layouts.
