Three fire crews called to kitchen blaze
FIREFIGHTERS have tackled a kitchen fire at a County Durham home.
Three fire engines were sent to Longnewton Street in Seaham at about 3pm on Sunday.
People were initially reported as trapped but the house was empty when fire crews arrived.
Four firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hose reels and a ventilation fan to tackle the fire.
