BUSINESSES are being urged to sign up to help a local hospice.
The 88 Club is run by St Cuthbert’s Hospice, in Durham, to help raise funds for its work caring for people with terminal illnesses.
Businesses can sign up by donating £88 a year, in return for a range of benefits including invitations to networking events, meeting room hire and employee workshops.
Kay Carrick, from St Cuthbert’s Hospice said: “We have longstanding relationships with many local businesses who support the hospice year in year out.
“It is important to us to maintain these connections and the 88 Club is a way for us to achieve this goal by offering a variety of benefits to businesses who sign up for the exclusive membership.”
