PROPOSALS to build 190 homes on the edge of a rural settlement will be on display at a public exhibition.
Keepmoat Homes has drawn up draft proposals for the development on land at Parkhill, between Coxhoe and Bowburn.
In 2015 outline planning permission for the development was granted despite opposition from local residents, who set up campaign group Parkhill Neighbours to fight the plans.
The draft proposal is for 190 homes, of which 152 would be for private sale and 38 would be classed as affordable.
Of the affordable homes, 26 would be available to rent and 12 would be for discount market sale.
Keepmoat wants to consult local residents before the detailed plans are submitted to Durham County Council.
The exhibition is being held at Bowburn Community Centre between 3.30pm and 7pm on Wednesday, March 15.
