A VETERINARY group with practices on Teesside has been recognised for its work ensuring its staff are happy, healthy and fulfilled in their work.
White Cross Vets, which has surgeries in Middlesbrough and Redcar, won the Society of Practising Veterinary Surgeons’ inaugural Wellbeing Award.
The group has recently started offering subsidised Fitbits and gym membership, which have immediately proved to be hugely popular, as well as mental health training.
Ed Newbould, from the company, said: “This award is a major coup for us and reinforces our ongoing commitment to creating a great working environment, where our team can thrive.”
