A WOMAN will face a trial over an allegation she murdered another woman in her home.
Julie Gowling, 43, is alleged to have killed Charlene Walker, who is also known as Jamie Paylor, at a house in Darlington in December.
The victim was found dead at a house in Louisa Street and was declared dead at the scene.
The results of post-mortem examination are not known, but the 34-year-old suffered a single stab wound.
Ms Gowling, of Louisa Street, made a five-minute appearance at Teesside Crown Court this morning via a live video-link from Low Newton Prison.
She was remanded in custody by Judge Stephen Ashurst, who said a trial date should be set within the next week.
