A CHARITY tractor run, now in its 15th year, is hoping to push its total amount raised for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance to more than £100,000 this year.
This year’s Beadlam Charity Tractor Run will take place on April 30 and was first held in 2003 with 35 tractors.
It was planned by Bernard Simpson, from Beadlam, near Helmsley, together with his team of willing helpers, as a one-off event to raise money for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
But the first run raised £1,700 - and it has grown ever since, with some 200 machines now taking part.
To help reach the £100,000 target, a JustGiving page has been set up for anyone who would like to donate. It can be found at justgiving.com/bctrun.
