AN armed robber made off with cash after threatening shop assistants in Guisborough.
Police are appealing for information after the robbery at McColls on Howlbeck Road on Sunday.
"The incident occurred at around 9.10pm when a man entered the store and threatened two females with a weapon and demanded cash from them," said a Cleveland Police spokeswoman.
"A small amount of cash was handed over and the suspect left the store and made off into a nearby estate. He is described as a white male, of medium to large build and aged in his 20s. He was wearing dark clothing."
