Firefighters attended a three car collision in Chester-le-Street
THREE cars collided near Chester-le-Street on Saturday.
Firefighters attended the A693, about a mile from the Blind Lane Roundabout, at 1.15pm, following reports of a car fire.
On arrival, however, the crew from Durham discovered the incident was in fact a three car collision but two of the vehicles had not remained at the scene.
The firefighters reported the incident to Durham Police at 1.41pm and police officers arrived shortly afterwards.
No-one was injured in the incident and firefighters left the scene at 1.50pm.
