THE supercar children's television star Brum is coming to the Empire Theatre, Consett.
The show has a fast-moving mix of fun, laughter, music and song for three to seven-year-olds.
Brum meets old friends, including the Traffic Policeman and Granny Slippers as they try to solve the mysterious disappearance of some of Big Town's valuables.
Louise Rushgrove, the theatre's arts programming officer said: "This is a perfect afternoon out especially for young theatregoers.
"Brum is family favourite and a morning regular on CITV, and children will love the little mechanical hero in this live stage show."
Brum and the Big Blue Diamond Mystery will be on stage at 2pm on Friday, July 27.
Tickets are £7.50, and can be booked by calling the box office on 01207-218171.
