EARLY birds are being encouraged to come and watch sunrise in upper Teesdale.
A walk will go to Little Dun Fell, one of the highest points on Moor House-Upper Teesdale National Nature Reserve.
Experienced guides will meet walkers just before midnight on Saturday, June 23 at the reserve entrance above Knock, near Appleby, and hike to the top of the fell in time to see sunrise over the surrounding hills.
The walk will be strenuous over about eight miles, returning to the vehicles about 6am on Sunday.
For more details, contact the reserve base on 01833-622374.
