A SERIOUSLY ill little boy with a rare genetic condition will get the life-changing treatment he desperately needs after a bone marrow match has been found.
The family of four-year-old Riley Mulvany, from Darlington, are celebrating after learning this morning a matching donor had been found for the youngster, who suffers from chronic granulomatus disorder.
A bone marrow transplant is the only cure for the condition, which affects the body's ability to fight infection and means that suffers face a life in and out of hospital.
