UP to 1,000 jobs could be created in a market town under plans for a £20m business park.
Castlevale Properties has drawn up proposals for the 32-acre site on Darlington Road, Northallerton.
The development would be a mixture of offices and industrial units and would stand next to the existing Northallerton Business Park.
Martin Foster, managing director of Castlevale Properties, said a number of national companies were already interested in the site, including a leading builders' merchant.
The scheme has been submitted to planners at Hambleton District Council.
