THREE people have been arrested following an assault in Scarborough on Sunday night.
Police were called to reports that two women had been assaulted on Queen’s Parade in Scarborough at about 9.30pm. Both victims were taken to hospital for treatment for serious injuries.
A man and two women have been arrested on suspicion of wounding.
North Yorkshire Police said: "A section of Queen’s Parade has been closed and will remain so for some time. Members of the public are asked to avoid the area to allow police enquiries at the scene."
