PEOPLE wanting to raise money for Butterwick Hospice are being urged to pick up a distinctive floral tribute.
The Butterwick Blooms are handmade ceramic flowers made to order by local pottery Daisy Doodle.
Each flower is being individually numbered and inscribed with its commemoration before its final firing.
A family receiving support from Butterwick Hospice have dedicated two individually hand-made and personalised ceramic Butterwick Blooms to their wife and mother who passed away in the Hospice in April of this year.
Colin Steel and his son James from Wolviston bought a bloom each in memory of Margaret.
“Margaret loved flowers and her garden tubs, so I thought this was a lovely tribute to celebrate her life,” Mr Steel said.
The Stockton charity is holding a special Butterwick Bloom event on Saturday, August 20 at Newham Grange Park, Stockton where everyone will be invited to come and collect their own personalised flower.
