POLICE are hunting for the driver of this car which dramatically lost control on a residential road in Darlington on Thursday night and hit a parked van.
The force of the impact bent back both front wheels of the blue Peugeot 2006. Its driver is understood to have left the scene.
The crash happened on Willow Road. As the car negotiated a bend it is believed to have clipped a kerb before it hit the van which was parked near the junction with Cartmell Terrace.
Police arrived at the scene quickly and carried out enquiries to trace the driver.
