A DARTS team is attempting to break a world record to hit the bullseye more than 1,505 times in ten hours.
Tim Whiting has organised the challenge with a group of fellow dart players who are aiming to raise cash for Northallerton Football Club Under 14s, and hope to beat the Guinness World Record on Sunday, July 31 at the Oddfellows Arms, Northallerton, starting at 10am.
Mr Whiting said: “All of us regularly play darts competitively in local leagues so we are hopeful that we will be able to beat the record.
“You can miss some bullseyes but we have to get more than 1,505 in the ten hours.”
The group is raising cash for new home and away kits and jackets for the youngsters.
