LONG-ESTABLISHED North-East band, Lifetime Skiver, are to release a new LP at a preview gig.
The band played their first concert in 1994 at the Tap and Spile (Now the The Old English Gentleman), but only released their first album four years ago which was a hit in the local area.
Supporting Lifetime Skiver at Darlington venue Voodoo Café will be local band The Van Fevers and some guest DJs.
Looking forward to the preview show, lead singer of Lifetime Skiver, Mike Cass said, ‘We've been going for a long time but we’re all still into the band. It works as we generally get on with each other. We're a good set of mates. It also helps that the new LP’s probably the best stuff we’ve done."
The preview gig will be also be special for the band in another way; as it will be drummer Martin Cass's swansong. This will be the final time he will grace t he drum-stool with the band.
The new album called the Late Great Electric Skiver Show LP will be released in early June. The Late Great Electric Skiver Preview Gig will take place at the Voodoo Cafe on Saturday, May 7. with the music starting from 8pm. Free Entry.
