POLICE said they were "amazed" there were no serious injuries in a crash which closed the southbound A168 in North Yorkshire tonight.
The southbound carriageway was closed between the B1448 at Thorpefield and the A167 at Topcliffe after the collision between a van and a BMW car.
North Yorkshire Police Roads Policing Group tweeted pictures of the vehicles involved, and confirmed the road has now fully reopened.
