GARDENERS wanting to hone their green-fingered credentials can attend a workshop at a North Yorkshire stately home.

Kiplin Hall, between Scorton and Northallerton, is hosting a gardening event to show people that no matter the size of your plot, good design and planning means you can make the most of what you have.

Head gardener Chris Baker, an experienced, qualified garden designer, is transforming the gardens at Kiplin Hall.

The five hour workshop, Designing Your Garden, will give plenty of ideas of what to do with your own garden.

Places are limited to 25 for the workshop, which takes place on Thursday, February 25 from 10am to 3pm, so booking is essential.

Tickets cost £17.50 per person, including morning coffee and homemade cake. Contact Kiplin Hall on 01748-818178 or info@kiplinhall.co.uk

Other gardens upcoming workshops with Mr Baker include Grow Your Own – Fruit and Veg from Your Garden on March 17 and How to Create the Perfect Herbaceous Border on September 15.
