SURTEES January 22, peacefully after a short illness, patiently borne, Amanda nee Waites aged 87 years, of West Auckland. Devoted wife of the late Tommy, cherished mam of Karen, mother-in-law to Bryan, a dear sister of Doreen, aunt to Lynn, Gerry, Jamie and Ross, cousin to Colin and will be sadly missed by all the families and Bentley. Will friends please meet for service in St. Helen's Church, at 11.00a.m., on Tuesday, February 2, followed by cremation at the Wear Valley Crematorium, Coundon. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu for a charity of the family's choice can be given c/o the family or at the Eden Arms, where all are invited for refreshments after the service.
