A PARISH church will hold a day of prayer and giving, with an exhibition of its work, on Saturday, May 26.
St Matthew's Church, at Leyburn, has leafleted the town with information about its work and how local people can help. Leaflets were accompanied by a gift envelope that can be filled with a donation and taken to the church on the prayer day.
The church will be open from 10am to 4pm. Services will be held at 10am, 1pm and 4pm.
