A MAN threatened store staff with a knife before making off.
Police are appealing for information after the robbery occurred at JE Jones convenience store in Scurfield Road, Stockton on Friday night.
The incident occurred at around 8.40pm.
"Staff were working in the shop when a male entered the store, threatening staff with a knife before making off from the scene," a Cleveland Police spokeswoman said.
"The offender was wearing a blue hooded jumper, black trousers and black shoes and was last seen running in the direction of Dinsdale Road.
"The victims did not receive any medical attention following the incident."
