A FREE training course in internet skills will take place later this week (Wednesday, October 7).
Time to Get Online will be held at Bowburn Community Centre, Bowburn, County Durham on Wednesday, October 7 from 10am to noon.
Participants will get help in using the internet to keep in touch with friends and relatives, look for work and save money from a designated “Digital Champion”.
Vickie Musgrove, the Digital Inclusion project co-ordinator, said: “We want to show people that online technology is nothing to be afraid of and the benefits in all aspects of life are endless.”
The session is being organised by the County Durham Housing Group, Dale and Valley Homes, Durham City Homes, East Durham Homes and Teesdale Housing Association.
