A TOWN centre footpath will be partially closed for at least two weeks.
The Houndgate footway in Darlington will be temporarily closed to allow for the installation of cables.
Work to install the Northern Powergrid cables will begin on Wednesday, September 16 and is expected to last around two weeks.
The closure will affect the north side of Houndgate, from the west side of the Bully Wynd junction westwards for 60 metres.
It is expected to reopen around Wednesday, September 30.
An alternative route will be provided on the south side of Houndgate.
