A FREE one-day music festival will be held across three city pubs next month (September).
The Durham Origins Festival will feature Gallery Circus, Charlie Dancer and Lost In Paradise as the headline acts.
Other acts in the line-up include Hazels, The Castells, The Waiters and Jake Houlsby.
The festival will be held on Friday, September 25 at the John Duck on Claypath, the Bishop Langley on Framwelgate Bridge and The Library on Saddler Street.
Luke Stuart-Smith, from producers Gigiti, said: “We’re really excited to be organising Durham’s first multi-venue music festival.
“Durham’s music scene can sometimes be overlooked but we wanted to showcase the huge amount of local talent in a free one-day event.”
Local acts can apply to play at the festival by going online to gigiti.com
Successful applicants will be chosen on Friday, September 11.
