A POPULAR air show will feature the final performance by an RAF Vulcan Bomber before its retirement, which will star alongside the Spitfire and the Mustang.
The Great Yorkshire Air Show, at Leeds East Airport on September 26, will also feature a Meteor T7, the De Havilland Venom and Vampire, as well as the Avro Anson and a rotary display by the Bell Huey.
The RAF XH558 Vulcan is the star of an action packed line-up including displays by the much loved hero of WWII, the Spitfire and US hero, the Mustang.
The Royal Navy star Hawker Sea Fury T-20 will also be on show for the day along with a Havard Fleet Air Arm aircraft.
There will aerobatics from Tom Cassell’s Global Stars, and the Gnats will give a two-ship display.
The historic and WWII contingent will be showing a DC-47, a Miles Magister, a Yak 18, the infamous B-17 Bomber and the French Broussard.
There will also be a vintage fun fair, market traders, RAF simulators and the Fenton Food Village, and the public will get the chance to take a Historic Pleasure Flight in Rapide or a Long Ranger helicopter.
Tickets are on sale now at www.yorkshireairshow.co.uk, and there are daily updates on Facebook at www.facebook.com/thegreatyorkshireairshow.
