THEIR faces swept by sand, the best landsailors in the country raced across the beach on Redcar at the weekend to claim victory.
The British Landsailing Championship Regatta returned to Redcar for the third year running, with spectators able to watch safely from the beach and promenade at Majuba Road.
The event is organised by York Landyacht Club and took place over two days on Coatham sands.
Families were able to meet the pilots and explore some of the yachts.
