A SECOND annual remembrance service for road victims will be held at a cathedral later this year.
The Service of Reflection and Remembrance for Road Crash Victims, organised by RoadPeace North East, will be held at Durham Cathedral on Sunday, November 22 at 2pm.
The first such service, last year, was attended by 125 people. This year’s is expected to be larger and will include representatives of the emergency services, politicians and dignitaries.
RoadPeace North East was launched by John and Janet Thompson, whose 27-year-old son Jake died after being struck by a lorry in Bristol, and David Robinson.
