MIDDLESBROUGH museums are celebrating after both being awarded a TripAdviser Certificate of Excellence.
Middlesbrough’s Dorman and Captain Cook Birthplace Museums are joint winners of the award from all over the world which continually deliver a superior customer experience, including restaurants, accommodation and cultural attractions.
Middlesbrough Museums Senior Curator, Phil Philo, said: “We are exceptionally proud that both Dorman and Captain Cook Birthplace Museums have been awarded the Certificate of Excellence as a result of so many positive reviews from our visitors.
“I would like to thank everyone who has taken the time to write about their experiences - all of our staff, both seen and unseen, strive to ensure the best visitor experience possible and it's great to know that hard work is paying off.”
The Transporter Bridge and Stewart Park were both previous Middlesbrough recipients of the award.
