A DANGEROUS sex attacker was today jailed indefinitely and told he will be released only when he is no longer considered a risk to women.

Last October, Dodd struck in the red light district of Middlesbrough after going out armed with a knife to attack a prostitute.

He dragged a 29-year-old vice girl into bushes and assaulted her, but her ordeal came to an end when two passers-by chased and caught Dodd.

Dodd, of Parliament Road, Middlesbrough, was convicted of kidnap and kidnap with intent to commit a sexual offence after a trial at Teesside Crown Court in February.

He was cleared by the jury of charges assault by penetration and possessing a hammer, but admitted possessing the steak knife.

Judge Stephen Ashurst branded Dodd a danger to women, and warned him he might never be released from prison.
