A BURGLAR who broke into his sister's home has been jailed for two years.
Alan David Jemmett stole a Sony PlayStation games console and sold it for £10.
After being caught, the 23-year-old led police to the new owner and it was returned to Jemmett's sister.
Teesside Crown Court heard yesterday that Jemmett had been staying at the house in Hartlepool until the day of the break-in.
Patricia Mancina, prosecuting, said his sister kicked him out on February 24, but Jemmett returned that night and got in through an upstairs window.
The court heard that Jemmett, of Borrowdale Street, Hartlepool, has a criminal record of more than 150 offences.
