DJ Mike Read took the words of the Comic Relief single 500 miles literally when he started an epic charity walk and cycle ride.
The former Top of the Pops presenter set off from Edinburgh Castle on Good Friday to raise funds for the charity.
Now a presenter on radio station Big L 1395AM, he walked down the east coast, stopping at St Abbs, Berwick, Alnwick and Newcastle before an overnight stop in Guisborough, east Cleveland, last night.
This morning, he is heading to Bridlington before he calls at Hull, Scunthorpe, Grimsby, Skegness, King's Lynn, Norwich, Lowestoft and Ipswich.
The Proclaimers are number one in the UK singles charts with their single (I'm Gonna Be) 500 Miles.
The Comic Relief version of the song was masterminded by comedian Peter Kay, who features in the video as Brian Potter, from TV comedy Phoenix Nights, along with Little Britain character Andy Pipkin, played by Matt Lucas.
