ALL the passengers involved in a coach crash on the M1 yesterday (Tuesday, May 5) have been released from hospital, it has been revealed.
More than 30 people were taken to hospital after coach travelling from Gateshead crashed on motorway near Mansfield.
The driver is still recovering in hospital, but his injuries are not serious.
A National Holidays spokesperson said: “All 32 passengers attended hospital as a precautionary measure, but all have been discharged and 28 have continued with their holiday.
“We are working with the emergency services to determine what caused this accident.”
Several vehicles and a coach, operated by National Holidays, were involved in the pile up on the M1 South between Junction 29 and 29A.
