A BIKER who died after coming off his motorcycle and hitting the central reservation of the A1 has today (Wednesday, May 6) been named.
Brian Raymond Gee, 46, of Holborn Place, Newcastle, was pronounced dead at the scene, near Washington services, at about 11.05am on Saturday, May 2.
Mr Gee came off his bike, for reasons yet to be determined.
Investigations into the crash are continuing and police are keen to speak to any witnesses or anyone with information.
