AN artist who draws inspiration from the world around him is launching an exhibition of his work.
John May's Dreams - An Exhibition of Energy will be on show at The Art Shop, in Darlington, at the end of the month.
The 67-year-old, from Skelton, east Cleveland, said: "There are beautiful walks around here and there are plenty of sights for creative inspiration."
The artist also spent 20 years selling his hand-crafted woodcraft at Richmond market, in North Yorkshire, while he was living in Middleton-in-Teesdale.
The exhibition opens at The Art Shop on Saturday, March 31 and runs until April 14. For details call 01325-465484.
