The Guisborough and District Friends of Cancer Research UK will hold a quiz and supper night at Guisborough Rugby Club, on Wednesday, March 28, at 7.45pm.

Tickets are £6 and are available by calling 01287-634571 or 01287-634965. Proceeds will be sent to the doctors, scientists and clinicians at the Paul O'Gorman centre, at Newcastle University, for research into the prevention, treatment and cure of cancer.

cOFFEE MORNING: Marske Community Partnership is holding an Easter coffee morning on Saturday, March 24, from 10am to noon, at The White House, Marske. There will be an Easter egg tombola and an Easter bonnet competition, which will be judged between 11.30am and noon by Vera Rider, chairwoman of Saltburn, Marske and New Marske Parish Council.
