PUPILS at a North Yorkshire school enjoyed a bird of prey show to tie in with their studies.
The students at Cundall Manor School, near Thirsk, were entertained by falconer Ben Potter, who showed the youngsters his bird's skills and tricks.
His Thirsk-based falconry business, Birds of Prey Displays, boasts nine birds ranging from owls to vultures and eagles.
Teacher Anna Martonla said: "The pupils have been learning about birds of prey in their lessons.
"This will complement that and it will be lovely to be able to enforce what we have been teaching them in the lessons."
Mr Potter is a former manager at the Birds of Prey and Conservation Centre, at Sion Hill Hall, near Thirsk.
His display was seen by the school's early years youngsters.
