TSC Under-9s played host to Darlington All Stars in this weekend's derby league fixture.

The visitors kept TSC at bay and took the lead when a well-placed cross was finished off well by the All Stars forward, leaving no chance for Sam Williams in the TSC goal.

TSC pressed forward again and managed to equalise soon afterwards. James Henley's well-taken corner was volleyed home by Lewis Poole in spectacular fashion.

In the second half John Lorimer managed to give TSC the lead. He ran with the ball down the left hand side and finished from a very tight angle to make it 2-1.

In the second game, TSC's youngsters performed extremely well and got their rewards with a 2-0 victory.

Callum Webster played superbly on the left hand side and his energetic run opened the scoring for TSC, his cross being put into his own goal by the All Stars defender.

Callum continue to cause problems and scored from wide on the left after beating two men to double TSC's lead.

TSC Under-10s played Newton Aycliffe in a league fixture and ran out 3-1 winners thanks to a mixture of ruthless striking from leading club scorer Sam Theakston and solid defensive play from Alex Nelson, Tom Mutton and Rory Elliott.

TSC came out of the blocks quickly and in the fifth minute Luke Hewitson battled through a wall of defenders to slam Matty Burton's cross into the back of the net. Two minutes later Sam Theakston finished off a wonderful move from Tom Mutton and Nathan Wright putting his shot in the bottom right hand corner. TSC looked set for a commanding victory but in the tenth minute they were caught in possession up front and Newton Aycliffe broke quickly to score.

Two minutes from time Newton Aycliffe hit the bar but TSC immediately counterattacked and with their only real attack of the second half Sam Theakston coolly slotted the ball home from ten yards out.

In the friendly TSC Rory Elliott acted as playmaker in central midfield and within 12 minutes TSC were 4-0 up with three great strikers goals from Jack Procter and a powerfully struck shot from Ben Murphy. In the second half Andy Walsh set up Ben Murphy to slot home his second goal to secure TSC a comfortable 5-0 victory.

TSC Under-11s, sponsored by CT Steel Services, travelled the short distance to play Darlington All Stars in what turned out to be a well contested game played in a great spirit for which both teams should take immense credit for.

The game began with All Stars out of the blocks the quicker and they seized an early advantage as their industrious and tricky midfield player made no mistake from close range to seal a 1-0 win.

TSC Under-12s entertained Acklam in a very tense and dramatic encounter. With both teams at the top of the league it was always going to be tight.

After a goalless first half Ryan Todd latched onto a loose ball on the edge of the box and he was allowed to carry the ball forward and make no mistake from 12 yards and place a good shot into the corner.

Acklam grew stronger and were soon rewarded with an equaliser.

Acklam were then awarded a penalty for handball in the box as the ball hit James Owen high on the shoulder.

The Acklam striker made no mistake from the spot kick to make it 2-1.

TSC Under-13s, sponsored by Jagtech and Granada Aluminium, travelled to Trimdon United for a league fixture. It was the home side who scored against the run of play to break the deadlock. Trimdon doubled their lead with ten minutes of the half remaining. TSC were rewarded for their first half display five minutes later when Robert Lucas latched onto another Ryan Pelling pass and coolly placed the ball past the advancing keeper.

TSC found renewed confidence and pushed forward and were unfortunate not to equalise when another powerful run from Ryan Pelling was ended when he was knocked off the ball in the penalty area. Claims for a penalty were turned down and Trimdon countered superbly to add a third shortly before the break.

The home side increased their lead shortly after the restart and credit must be given to the TSC lads who never dropped their heads and continued to try to play a good passing style. They were rewarded with another Robert Lucas goal who came close to a hat trick at the death but the hosts proved too strong and ran out 6-2 winners.

TSC Under-15s, sponsored by Render Systems, started well against a determined Broughton & Kirby side.

TSC were punished for some sloppy defending allowing the ball to bounce in the box, the loose ball was easily despatched away to give Broughton & Kirby the lead going into the break.

TSC were soon rewarded when an excellent run from Natty Rowntree down the right found Josh Newton charging into the box who connected with a good effort to make it 1-1.

Nathan Beadle was soon introduced and was quickly into the game as his strength up front was making the opposition stand off.

More good play down the right led to a corner and when Broughton & Kirby failed to clear, Adam Shield was on hand to lash the loose ball in for a well deserved goal.

In the second half Nunthorpe pulled a goal back to make it 3-1. Allstars made it 4-1 when Carlsen went on a run to chip the ball over the keeper. THE Under-14s Colts, sponsored by Ultimate Windows & Conservatories, travelled to Wolviston.

They took the lead when James Collins fired home from 35 yards and the lead was doubled when Richard Howe freed strike partner Adam Boyle who outpaced the defence before scoring.

The hosts pulled a goal back in the second half but Mitchell Tucker's long ball found Jordan Grieves who chipped the keeper to restore the two-goal lead. Again the hosts replied and it took man of the match James Collins to clear off the line late on to ensure a 3-2 victory for the Colts.

STOCKTON put the pressure on early but there were few chances for them and the Under-9s Allstars defence of Alex Cox and man of the match Alexander Nelson stood tall to the challenge. With two minutes to go a passing move through the middle ended up with Lewis Rees having only the keeper to beat on the edge of the box but he sent his shot over the bar.

THE Colts Under-11s started quickly and soon had Robinson shooting on target before being substituted injured. This change unsettled the team with Nunthorpe taking control of the first half scoring three times.

Man of the match was Markey.

ALLSTARS Under-15s started well against a well-organised Marske, but a Newton free-kick was headed in by Johns with a clinical finish.

The second half began with Allstars being pushed back and conceding a early goal. Marske added a second but credit to all players and match official K.Airey for adding to a very competitive match. Man of the match was Newton.

THE Under-10s 21st Allstars, sponsored by Steve Robson Flooring, played host to Greatham FC. Man of the match Jack Walker and Alex Grocott defended very well and stopped Greatham from putting any shots in at James Young in goal.

The game was heading for a draw when Adam Morley came up with

a wonderful shot from out wide on the right which Greatham's keeper couldn't keep out of the net.

AFTER a goalless first half, for the Under-16s, Farlow hit a tremendous 25-yard effort against the bar, Cox followed up but the keeper managed to save it.

However, Bunting was first to react and brilliantly hammered in the opener. Late on a fantastic pass from man of the match Adam Armstrong found Farlow who finished neatly to double their tally.
