GROUPS and individuals from across south Durham will today be raising cash for Comic Relief.
Statues at The Bowes Museum, in Barnard Castle, will wear Comic Relief red noses, Wear Valley District Council's Paul Woods will have his head and beard shaved, and the Brewers Fayre, in Bishop Auckland, will host a children's talent contest.
Other events taking place include a variety show by staff at St John's RC Comprehensive School, in Bishop Auckland, a cooking competition by pupils at Cleves Cross Primary School.
