POLICE have launched an investigation after the body of a woman was discovered.
The body was found around 9.20pm on Saturday when police were called to an area near to Wren Street, in the Oxbridge area of Stockton.
A spokesman for Cleveland Police said: "Her identitity has not been established at this time.
"Police have conducted a number of enquiries, including forensic examination, to establish the cause of death.
"At this time the death is being treated as unexplained."
