A CHOIR is holding an open evening in an attempt to attract new members.
Northallerton Male Voice Choir is inviting prospective singers to its rehearsal rooms at Northallerton Methodist Church from 7.30pm on Thursday.
The choir will be in rehearsal and will give a demonstration of how the male voice sound is put together. Refreshments will be available.
Musical director Anthea Shepherdson said: "No previous singing experience is needed and you do not need to be able to read music to be a member.
"We sing all different kinds of music, so there should be something to suit everyone's taste."
The choir travels around the North-East and North Yorkshire to give concerts.
