FASHION retailer New Look is the latest big name to sign up to Thornaby town centre as it undergoes a multi-million pound redevelopment.
It joins Peacocks, Lidl, Wilkinsons, Home Bargains and Barclays that have committed to opening premises in the town.
Stockton Borough Council and development partner Thornfield Properties are leading the regeneration, which will include new shop and office units as well as refurbishment of existing businesses.
Councillor Bob Cook, cabinet member for regeneration and transport, said: "It is great news to see another big, national store signing up to Thornaby town centre. The blend of big names and popular independent stores will make Thornaby an attractive shopping destination for people."
