POLICE are concerned for the safety of a man who went missing from a hospital yesterday morning.
Tony William Hendley, 42, is a patient in secure accommodation, but had been taken to York District Hospital for treatment.
He ran away at about 3am and police are concerned for his welfare, as he is vulnerable and requires regular medication.
Mr Hendley is stocky and was last seen wearing a long-sleeved navy top, blue jeans, black jacket and trainers.
Anyone who has seen him or knows where he might be is asked to contact York Police on 0845-60-60-247.
