CHILDREN at a North-East dance club raised £2,112 for charity with a concert.
More than 200 fleet-footed members of the Rachel Coad School of Dance, in Darlington, starred in the show at Polam Hall School, in the town.
The performance included a rendition of the musical Alice in Wonderland and a trip through the Dances of the World, with flamenco, cancan and belly dancing demonstrations.
All money raised went to the Education Centre for Children with Down Syndrome.
Dance teacher Rachel Coad said: "We sold raffle tickets and people paid to come and watch the show.
"I teach children with Down syndrome in my dance school, so it's a charity that is very close to my heart."
