A SEARCH has been launched to find a new man to take the driving seat of one of North Yorkshire’s leading attractions.
After 11 years in the hot seat the managing director of the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, Philip Benham, is retiring.
“Philip has been a huge asset to the railway,” said chairman Andrew Mead.
“He has combined his own love of anything that runs on rails with running a self-sustaining visitor attraction, building an operational team of professional heritage railway specialists that is unrivalled in this country.”
The railway is now looking for someone to succeed Mr Benham and build on his achievements.
For more information about the role and details for how to apply are available online at nymr.co.uk. The closing date for applications is March 31.
