A CYCLIST has been injured after a collision with a car.
Police said the 44-year-old man suffered a suspected broken arm after the incident.
It happened at the roundabout at the bottom of Front Street, Consett, near Morrison’s supermarket, at around 10.10am yesterday. (Saturday, February 28)
The man collided with a Nissan Pathfinder and it is understood the driver remained at the scene to help the injured man.
Police said no arrests have been made and inquiries are ongoing.
Anyone with information or who witnessed the incident is asked to call PC Peter Taylor on the police non-emergency number 101.
